Back in '13, while living in NM a friend purchased a small handgun for me after obtaining my CCW. The purchase was made with his credit card but the serial number and gun info was put in my name. I have not had possession of the gun since December 2013 when I left it with the friend who bought the gun. I now live in Massachusetts and plan on obtaining my LTC here. I don't like the idea of that gun being associated with my name since I am no longer in contact with that friend and frankly don't even know where it is at this point. I do not want to try and get the gun back, I just don't want it in my name or associated with me any longer. Is there anything I can do to resolve this? Thanks! via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/290sBOP

[ROAD RAGE] Had to draw my gun yesterday.
I was on my way to take one of the many test I will need to pass to get my license in my profession. On the drive to the facility there are three lanes that go down to two with the left lane merging into the middle lane. I am in the right lane and changed lanes into the middle lane to avoid a stopped car, I saw the car in advanced so it wasn't anything quick or sudden especially with traffic moving at 35mph due to rain. I hear a "horn" and realize that while I was changing lanes a truck was merging into the same lane. I thought nothing of it and got back into the right lane after passing the stopped car, this kind of thing happens all the time when there are multiple lanes. The truck accelerates past me then slams his breaks on and cuts partially into my lane. At this point his truck is stopped diagonally and blocking both lanes. I can't back up because of morning traffic/commuters behind us and can't go around him because of not having a shoulder. I draw my pistol and have it sitting on my lap. I notice on his back windshield he has multiple 2nd Amendment, NRA, and other stickers letting everyone know he is most likely carrying (that douche bag). Thankfully all he wanted to do was yell at me, he rolled his passenger window down and yelled/cursed at me while his young son sat there in the passenger seat (Father of The Year contender). All I wanted to do is defuse the situation so I just said "Sorry, I didn't see you". The cursing/yelling continued and he finally left and I was on my way.TL;DR Douche bag with road rage and I had to draw. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/293otRR
Can I get an Oregon license?
So I have my Washington State CPL but I go to Oregon a lot for various reasons. I don't like having to remove my gun before crossing the border. Can I get an Oregon concealed carry licenses without being a resident (I know their laws are pretty tight)? What's the process like? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/291kirE
Alpha concealment for the Sig P320
Has anyone tried the Promethius with the P320 Compact? I'm considering it now, I'd love to see some pictures of it bonus points of you have the sweat guard. I tried an image search, but all I see is Glock and M&P.Pete via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/290n6Cl

Is it illegal to carry in San franscisco? I've always heard that it is. Even in my ccw class they said it was. Any one from there and carry's? Legally..

Thinking about getting a concealed carry permit, but I have a few questions.
So to begin, spotless criminal record, passed my background checks and got a M&P shield. I've been wanting to get my permit for a while now but I'm at college and I don't know what to put for my address. I am currently living in my college town full time and will live here for another year, but as it is not permanent the adress on my driver's license is my parents address, which I will be moving back to after I graduate. I'm working full time over the summer, so when I file for my permit I would like to do it in my college town's circuit court so I don't have to drive 2 hours for a court date, but I don't know if that is possible.Edit: Virginia, USA I also pay the power and water bills for my college apartment, so I have two proofs of adress in my name. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/296HYZx
What They Don't Want You to Know: CCW Permits are Easily Obtainable in MOST California Counties and Are Valid STATEWIDE.
