Hi everyone. New to sub but not to guns. In a bit of an interesting position, my SO isn’t anti-gun by any means but she’s a little funny about me getting a permit and carrying. I haven’t poked too hard, but lately I’ve been thinking about it more and more and I’ve decided to re-approach her about it. Just curious if anyone has any good points I should mention when I bring it up with her that I may not be thinking of? She believes in the right to defend one’s home and really wants to go to the range with me and was super excited when I bought a gun she could learn with which are great signs and makes me think if I presented some good enough points, I’d probably be alright. Based on what she’s said to me, I think her fear is that I’d seek out trouble/go macho or that somehow by carrying I’m inviting trouble. Which is literally the exact opposite of my personality, I’m not a confrontational person by any means. I’m sure I’m not the only one in this position either. Appreciate it in advance! via /r/CCW https://ift.tt/3tfBOf9
