Just wants to give a big thanks to this community at large and to BlueAlpha Gear. After following advice I received here and investing in both a holster with a claw and wedge and BlueAlpha Gear’s low profile EDC belt I feel like I’ve rediscovered concealed carry and it’s finally comfortable.As a side note about the belt, I’m super impressed with how rigid yet truly low profile it is. Not a CCW or dgu incident but another reminder to never make statements without lawyer. Also an dashcam can save your legal life.

For gods sake, the driver simply stepped out of car to close his door, and the rowdy passengers mistook him as stepping out for a fight.Also, do we have any uber lyft or DoorDash drivers here? Getting trained

I attended my first class with holster draw yesterday at my local gun club. I can’t say enough about how informative it was and humbling as well. I admit that I’ve gone down the rabbit hole a little bit of getting sweet gear and eyeing upgrades when I could’ve been investing that time and money in training.At this point, I’ve taken a pistol fundamentals course and a holster draw course that’ll let me draw at the gun club so I can do some live fire training on my own. But I’m looking for advice from those on this sub who’ve done more training beyond just the basics:What are the most effective CCW training drills for combat accuracy and “second nature” gun handling awareness?Thanks in advance! Question about CCW safe and gym

Just a few random questions on my mind.My gun safe is in my basement so I go downstairs to take my holster and gun out to put on.Do you guys have some other method of splitting your CCW and your others? Do you have a separate safe that you keep only your ccw in? Maybe that goes by the door or where you get dressed in the morning?Also, I do not carry to work because I go to the gym at work sometime during the day. Do any of you go to the gym mid day? If so, are you putting the ccw into ... a fanny pack or something and then carrying that on you while you work out? And if you do switch into a fanny pack, I'm guessing you do it in a bathroom stall? Just trying to figure out the logistics.Lastly, just a general question about having a "nightstand" gun. How do you safely keep a nightstand gun? What kind of safe are you using?
