I'll be traveling soon from GA to TN via car on the interstates and back roads. I know GA and TN share reciprocity but how does that work should I get pulled over for whatever or TQ'ed on the street? In GA there's no requirement to inform but I do out of courtesy and respect for their job. I can't find anything regarding a TN's requirement or not.Any help is appreciated. Thanks. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/29gtoQC

CCW at theme parks - To carry, or not to carry [Florida]
From what I understand, Walt Disney World is considered a special district, and they also hold an explosives license. This, coupled with metal detectors, seems to make it a no-go. I called the Orange County Sheriff substation, and they told me no firearms at Disney, but would not tell me anything about SeaWorld or Universal. Is carrying in SeaWorld or Universal worth the effort?I've heard that both parks have metal detectors, and randomly screen people.Under Florida law, there is no reference to theme parks, and company policy is not law. "No-gun" signs do not hold the weight of law. However, if detected, you have to comply and leave the property or risk an armed trespass.Chances are that nothing will happen, but with the 4th of July coming up, the parks will be packed. Perhaps security will be beefed up? Is there a need for CCW in a park? What do you think? Vote Here via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/299Ql5X
Concealable OWB retention holster options.
It's hot in Texas and I want to be able to carry OWB but concealed. I can do this fairly easily with the alien gear holster I have but I'm cautious when it comes to the chance of accidentally printing and finding myself in a takeaway scenario. To reduce chances of this happening I started looking for concealable retention holster. I have a safariland retention holster that I wear around the property but it's bulky and impossible to conceal. I've been looking at other safariland options but it's really difficult to tell how concealable they are with a loose shirt. What advice can you give? I'm not set on safariland, I just started there since I have one I like. I normally carry at the 8 to 9 position (south paw). Normal carry is a Sig 320 Compact. I can pocket carry and I do in some situations but wanted to explore this option.Edit: pocket carry a different pistol, not the sig. :). Haha. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/29xtM9I
[XPost] Let's try to inform a few less educated individuals about how a CCW will help stop a terrorist with a gun.

Hybrid Holster vs. Straight Kydex. No Leather
So I just bought a Sig P320 subcompact, and now I need an IWB holster. Basic requirements are that I want the gun in Kydex and I don't want any leather. I'm thinking either a straight Kydex holster, or a two-clip (hybrid) style holster. The only two-clip styles that have appealed to me are the StealthGear ones (because of the lack of leather), and I see that they have a good following here. However, I have serious concerns about the longevity of those holsters and their materials (just one example: http://ift.tt/297qYTE). Are there any alternatives to the StealthGear that have the synthetic backing? There's also something like a six week lead time on SG.As far as straight Kydex holsters go, construction and availability are most important, but ideally it would have some adjustment on the height and cant. I've used a Vedder LightTuck and it felt good but was the only Kydex I've ever tried. Is the two-clip style more comfortable than just Kydex, and by how much? What brands have you had personal experience with? Looking for more than referrals to the FAQ. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/298dQKC
