Wife is being stalked by a regular at our work. Need advice.

My wife is a a cashier at a gas station up the road from the apartments we live in.

There's recently been this really shady dude who took offense to her not texting him when he gave her his number. He came in this morning asking other staff her name and when she gets off work. They all got a bad vibe and said they weren't able to give out that kind of info and he got upset and kinda stormed out.

Turns out, guy is some younger mentally troubled 19yo who lives with his mom and has a record of doing shit like this before.

I'm genuinely concerned for my partners safety. I can luckily walk her to and from work most days but not all the time.

Any advice is helpful. I've already told her to document everything he says and what times he says it if he confronts her so she can build a case for a restraining order if it comes to it.
