Tell me why I shouldn't carry America's caliber- 6+1 45ACP vs 10+1 9mm

Handguns- S&W Shield 45 4" barrel and a Sig p365XL with a standard p365 grip module. Dimensionally, the Sig is .5" shorter in height and length, and about 4oz lighter.The Sig is smaller, lighter, and has better capacity.
