I took some of your advice and inquired about getting my Gearcraft PCR holster fixed (misaligned clip and claw)

I ordered one a couple weeks ago and the clip and claw are too far apart. pictureIn the picture you can see that the top of the claw will just barely find my standard 1.5" gun belt.I asked about getting it fixed and was told that I was complaining and to just send it back for a refund. He said it's not his fault because raven concealment makes the clip and claws. Even though it would work fine if the clip was lower.Should i just send it back and try a different company?Does anyone have a PCR holster with a claw that works? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2wpl7Du

What are some good front pocket carry pistols for traditional jean pants (no cargo)

Don't think I can hip carry a p938 every day it's just too big/heavy especially at an office job there's a lot of sitting and getting up and sitting back down. Although it conceals very well and works great in my tucker leather holster. I will continue to carry it every so often it's just not something I can make a habit out of.Looking for other options and willing to drop to 380,etc to get something in a front pocket. My thought is that a tiny gun in my front pocket will just look like another phone so I won't even mind if it prints since it will be in a sleeve. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2vQml77

Can't decide on a appendix carry pistol.

Currently I carry a Glock 30s iwb 4:30 but I would like to diversify my carry options and incorporate aiwb. Is the 30s too large a pistol to comfortably carry in this position? I also have a Glock 43 and 27, the 43 I usually carry for day hikes or anything requiring small light weight pocket application and the 27 has been a safe/range queen. Of the 3 calibers mentioned the 9mm is my least favorite, I say this knowing the 9 is probably the best option for this position given the choices. Of the three I shoot the 30s the most and I prefer it over the others but the 27 is a close second. I should also mention after bouncing around different holster manufacturers I've been the happiest with 'Crossbreed' and own several and would buy again for appendix. Who here carries any of these aiwb? Any excuse to buy a new pistol is welcomed. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2ept3KT

Hurricane Harvey 30.06, 30.07 (means weapons possession=Trespassing in Texas) at the shelter...did not comply...

So, like many in South Texas...I've had a hell of a week. Water breached my apartment and I was rescued by some awesome volunteers in s flat bottom boat. I had my dog and two bags. I didn't know for sure I would find a shelter that would allow me and my dog to stay together, and separating was not an option for me.As I prepared to leave my house, Not knowing I'd be in a shelter or outside, I packed only 3 days of supplies...cloths, food, water...for me and my dog. And for safety, a Glock 19 in my bag and a LCP II on my hip.By great luck I was taken to a shelter in a church that was not FEMA or Red Cross, but just a local church trying to help by taking in all People and pets.Only problem is the church had 30.06 and 30.07 signs posted. So now I instantly feel guilty, because here is this awesome community sat the church taking me in when I really needed it. And here I am about to violate their rules. So what did I do...the LCPII stayed on my hip the entire time. So small and light, nobody would ever know. And I'm glad I did...I never needed it? But tensions were high and people were really on edge and it could have gotten really ugly at any time.So the Glock 19 was a little more concerning. I certainly didn't want to Conceal it for multiple days and never take it off. I also didn' t want to try to maintain positive control over the bag the entire time. So when I got a chance and was alone in the bathroom, I disassembled the Glock and I put the barrel in my pocket. What would you do? I usually obey these signs, but in this case just keep it to yourself and carry on...IMOTLDR Hurricane/Flood victim evacuated to a church with no weapons signs. Carried LCPII, but disassembled G19 so I could safely keep it in my backpack..glad I did even though it was not used of course. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2goplSp
