G21 vs G30 for CCW

Hello, I have been eyeing the Glock 30 for a while as I enjoy the way it shoots and because I could use it as my CCW on occasion. However, I found a really good deal on a Gen 3 Glock 21 today and almost bought it but I hesitated because I have wanted a gun in 45 that I could conceal and wasn't sure how well the 21 could be carried. So, to those out there that have the 21 and 30 (or just the 21) is the 21 much more difficult to carry? Do any of you regularly carry the the 21? lt looked manageable but I figured I would ask you all. Thanks for any input you can provide. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2r2rREk

Question regarding moving out of NC to TX and what to do with my permit?

So as the title says I am moving out of NC to Texas. I cannot find a direct answer as to if I need to turn in my concealed handgun permit with the sheriffs office or what that whole ordeal entails. They discuss the change of address form for when you stay in state, but not moving out of state. Thanks to anyone who has gone through this before. Does my permit just become invalid when I get my Texas drivers license? Im just not trying to shoot myself in the foot and prevent myself from getting my carry license in Texas eventually. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2r2dakI

I don't understand carry in church

Let me start by saying this is not intended to offend. I know guns and religion can be hot button topics and I only ask to satisfy own curiosity. It's something I'm trying to understand.I was raised a Catholic, did all my sacraments, was an altar boy for many years. I grew apart from the church not out of hate. I respect everyone's right to worship as they choose. What I don't understand are the comments I've seen here and other places regarding a security detail or some other form of security type need at services. Have things chanced? Is there really a need for armed security at church services? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2qxnP3k

Damaged ccw license

My Kentucky ccw license somehow got sliced. It goes across most of the top half. Would it be a problem if I have it laminated before it tears completely off? Or will that somehow void it? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2saTVU3
