Family member I live with (father) sucker punched me 4 times in my head while I had my back turned to him during an argument where I told him to keep his hands to himself and broke my orbital bone. Charged at me while my back was turned and my mother was in between us (I told her to please step away) ended up being sucker punched full force with my back and head facing my father, I never fell, I just retreated out the front door as he was still throwing punches at my head. Entire right side of my face was immediately black and blue bleeding etc and I cannot see out of my right eye. I’m diabetic so I already have incredibly blurry vision. Just curious, as someone who has a CCW, would I have been justified to defend myself ? He has been abusing me since I was a child hitting me.. He has always known I will never hit him back as he will call the cops as he always threatens after he hits me.. I also have diabetes, epilepsy, I’m a disabled veteran due to major spinal injury and he has 50 pounds and 7 inches on me. I pay rent here as well if that matters. I am 30 years old and he is 57.
