To brake or not to brake?

So I did do a search and didn't yield any significant results. I wanted to ask every ones opinion of having a brake on your carry gun. My daily gun has a threaded barrel, but since carrying a suppressor isn't practical I was thinking about a brake.Pros:* faster follow up shots* easier recoil under stressCons:* much louder (no ear pro in self defense)* increases flash (blinding at night)Side notes:* My IWB is open ended so it woitnt affect my gear choice* I run open for USPSA so it won't affect my trainingWhat are your thoughts? Do you use a brake? Which one(s) do you like? I would hypothetically need a 1/2x28 for 9mm via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2k4oSqa

DA/SA handgun with shortest trigger reach?

Hey all. I've been itching for a new gun lately and I've come to the conclusion I want and EDC without a safety. I love the look and the reputation of the CZ75 but my problem lies in the trigger reach. My fingers aren't exactly that long, so my main carry has been a variety of 1911s for as long as I've owned a handgun.Do you fine folks happen to have any suggestions for 9MM DA/SA with a short trigger reach? Doesn't have to be a easily concealed as I enjoy open carrying occasionally and I already have my subcompact, but it has to be small hand friendly. Thanks all! via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2jCrhtn
