MN Application Status- Anger!
So my FIL lives in a neighboring county which is a smaller than Hennepin (he lives in Anoka for those who are from MN).He turned in his paperwork 3 days later than me, and got his permit back in 9 days. I on the other hand turned in my paperwork on March 14th, and I have nothing yet. I fully expect Hennepin county to take the entire 30 days for the waiting period, even though I have a recently acquired permit to purchase.Fuckers... No my Father in Law is making it his second job to send me pictures of him carrying everywhere he goes. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/1q9zeaa
N82 Turn Around Time
I just placed an order for an N82 holster. They say it can take two weeks, which I am prepared to do, just would rather not. Impatience... If anybody has ordered a professional holster from them recently, how long did it take to ship? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/1RQKgtK
Need help with Dara Holster AIWB Options
Hi all. What a helpful community this is. Please be patient with me as I am just beginning my concealed carry life. I have been hearing good things about Dara Holsters and want to order an AIWB holster from them, specifically the one that I linked in this post. This being my first holster, I am a bit confused about several options on that holster.FYI I will be wearing a 1.5 inch Beltman brown belt as my carry belt. Carrying a Glock 19. I'm 6'3" 185lbs with noticeably wider shoulders than waist. I wear form-fitting clothing and would prefer to not have to sacrifice my wardrobe to carry. I would like a holster to provide the most concealment possible while still giving quick access to the firearm. That all being said, I have some questions:When it comes to belt attachment, would the clip over 1.5in be sufficient? I would like to be able to put on and remove the holster easily and quickly, if that helps. In terms of ride height, is low ride too low? Is high ride too high? I guess I just have no way to compare high, mid, and low ride. Are there example pictures of those three different types of ride? What would you all recommend? Can't angle is another thing that I don't understand. Is that the forward lean of the gun so that the grip sticks up more? Is one less prone to printing than another? This community is an excellent starting place for people new to concealed carry. I have learned a lot from r/CCW and hope that this community continues to grow. Thanks all. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/1X2pGb2
Walther PPS vs. Kahr CW9 vs. Shield
Price isn't a factor. I just want the most reliable gun that i can CCW as well as plink with. I'm a shorter skinny guy, I know that are all around the same size though. The paddle style mag release isn't a factor either, as I find i can operate them faster. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/1X2nQa8
