What shirt(s) do you wear when carrying?

I usually wear flannels or long sleeve t shirts but they seem like they're too short maybe? I have a problem where my shirts seems to ride upon my back and tends to reveal my edc location which is about 4 o clock, solutions? I just got my ccw a couple months ago and am very new to edccw.
