Carrying on a date?

I posted in the freedom Friday thread, but it didn’t get any traction so I’ll try making a postI have been a few dates recently and either left my gun at home or in a safe inside my car. Most of the dates have been in public places, and I feel uncomfortable not carrying, but also don’t feel right not letting the other person know. I also wouldn’t know how they would react.I recently saw a post about a guy going on a date then getting jumped by the girl’s friends afterward, stealing his money and other valuables. Which sketched me out even more.Is this something that should be addressed before, during or even at all? Should I just carry without saying anything? And when is a good time to mention I do carry?
