Is anyone else seeing empty ammo shelves?

I always read that 9mm ammo is cheap and plentiful, but where I live (CO), I'm seeing a lot of empty space on the 9mm shelves while .40 and .45 seems better stocked - particularly practice ammo at Wal-Mart.
