So my work recently changed policy on CCW. No longer allowed. Need advice moving forward.

So when I signed the company policy hand book at my job it said "if you wish to carry a weapon you need to obtain your CCW license and carry it on your person at all times and never leave it in the truck" which I have been abiding by.Then one day my boss decides that CCW in commercial vehicles is against the law, which is false. If you want to CCW in a commercial vehicle, from what I've read, you only need to abide by state laws concerning carry. We never leave the state anyways and have reciprocity with all surrounding states we unlikely maybe could travel to.Everyone at my work carries and naturally we raised a big stink about it. We are not happy at all.Now the boss is asking how many of us have a CCW license and carry. One part of me just wants to remain quiet on the matter, violate company policy and carry anyways. I have money saved up to keep me afloat if I am fired and finding work in my profession is easy. On the other hand I want to speak up and join my fellow co workers and let it be known we won't stand to be doing our job without a means of protecting ourselves. I really wanted to tell my boss to get fucked and to hire a cop to ride around in the tow truck with me, but I didn't because I have a bit more tact than that.I'm just worried my boss gathers a list of all of us and decides to randomly tell us to empty our pockets or lift our shirts to do weapons checks. What do I do? Stay quiet or speak up? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2k4ozdI
