So, I just bought my first handgun - S&W Shield 9. I'm a lifelong hunter, but am now getting into small arms mainly for self/home defense. I'm interested in knowing from this great wealth of CCW knowledge is if there's anything valuable I should do to get the most out of my first experience. My first goal is getting to know my pistol - how it works, fires and feels in my hand. What else is there that you've picked up along the way? Thanks for anything in advance you can give me. via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2jtOUCL
