NY resident - is it worth getting a NH non-resident permit if national CCW reciprocity passes?

I live in Suffolk County, NY (Long Island). A pistol permit is required to buy a pistol or ammo and takes a lot of time and money to acquire. CCW permits are nearly impossible to get.If national reciprocity bill passes, my understanding is that a NH non-resident license can be used in NY or any other state.The NH non-resident permit requires no classes or shooting test, just a one page form and $100 check for four years. I am thinking of submitting my paperwork for the NH permit before the big rush of applications come in after the bill passes.If I then got a NY pistol license, would I be able to CCW in NY? via /r/CCW http://ift.tt/2jUAWcZ
