I'm trying hard to get into appendix carry, but keep on coming up short.

Looking for some advice for appendix carry for a bigger guy (6'2, 285lbs). I've tried a few different appendix carry options, but they're all too damn uncomfortable and don't allow me to bend over. It's a shame because I REALLY want to like appendix carry, but I can't get beyond the discomfort.
